Altocedro, Año Cero Malbec ~ Mendoza, Argentina
A La Consulta-terroir driven Malbec that is fresh, fruit-forward, and easy-to-drink. Altocedro means “tall cedar,” and represents both winemaker and owner Karim Mussi Saffie’s Lebanese-Argentine heritage, and a cedar tree which towers over the winery. “Ripe and racy, with invigorating acidity driving the delicious raspberry, boysenberry and licorice notes. The long finish lets graphite and incense notes chime in.

Simi, Merlot ~ Sonoma, California
Deep garnet with a ruby edge, our 2008 Sonoma County Merlot generously offers aromas of ripe red cherry, black plum, bright cranberry, clove, cinnamon, hints of cedar and toasty oak followed by opulent flavors of red plum, cassis, and blackberry preserves that have been gently interlaced with clove. This medium-bodied, juicy wine is nicely structured and finishes with soft yet firm tannins hinting at chocolate.

Freemark Abbey, Merlot ~ Napa Valley, California
The color is a deep, rich ruby-garnet. With forward spicy sweet oak, there are layers of flavor composed of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, dark plum, dark chocolate and spices such as cinnamon, clove and vanilla. The entry and finish are very smooth with integrated fruit resembling black cherry and Santa Rosa plum. The velvety texture coupled with the richness of flavor provides a profile that delivers from initial sip, one that continues on the palate for a very long finish.

Angela, Pinot Noir ~ Willamette Valley, Oregon
Angela is a single Pinot Noir produced from a single vineyard, Clawson Creek Vineyard, in the Yamhill-Carlton appellation of the Willamette Valley. Aromatics are intense with a pretty perfume of lavender, violets and fresh farm stand cherries. On the palate, a silky smooth mouth feel leads the way to fresh, lively fruit that finishes bright with lingering complexity.

The wine has lifted aromatics of ripe black fruits, with hints of licorice, chocolate and exotic spices. The palate is luscious fruit (mulberries, bing cherries, blackberries), while the oak is held in check. A dollop of Cabernet (5%) firms the structure and extends the long rich finish.

Silver Palm, Cabernet Sauvignon ~ North Coast, California

White Wine

Tohu, Sauvignon Blanc ~ Marlborough, New Zealand
This fresh and focused Sauvignon has bright aromas of citrus, apples and passion fruit with a distinct fresh cut grass herbaceous line running through it. On the palate the fresh fruit shines through with more green apples, lemongrass and passion fruit.

Zolo, Torrontés ~ Mendoza, Argentina
The  Medium straw-colored with a fragrant perfume of honey, spring flowers, and tropical fruits. Ripe, flavorful, dry, and restrained, this is Torrontés at its best.

Mulderbosch, Chardonnay ~ Stellenbosch Hills, South Africa
Lime zest, mineral salts, ripe cut pear and flint notes dance a merry jig on the nose whilst an array of white nectarine, oatmeal and even a hint of walnut tempt the palate. A rich textured mid palate and complex spicy oak nuances of pecan pie and squashed grapefruit.

Hogue, Pinot Grigio ~ Columbia Valley, Washington
A refreshing white wine with vibrant fruit flavors and crisp acidity. Finely balanced between ripe fruit and citrusy tartness, the 2009 vintage has aromas and flavors of peach, orange blossom, lemon, cream and a slight almond character

Argentiera, Poggio Ai Ginepri Bianco ~ Tuscany, Italy
40% Viognier, 30% Vermentino, 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Intense straw yellow color. On the nose fruit and nearly sweet hints of pear, banana, apricot and melon beside the freshness of citrus fruits. Good presence of flower flavors as lavender and white flowers in addition to spicy hints in particular sage. The palate is fresh with pleasant fruity aromas. Intense and at the same time very balanced with a long fresh finish and good aromatical and mineral character

Beyerskloof, Chenin Blanc - Pinotage ~ South Africa
An Elegant crisp entrance. Refreshingly dry and perfectly balanced. Good primary fruit giving way to hints of mineral, earthy and somewhat peppery tones. A long lingering finish with resonating fruit, acidity and mineral aftertaste. Enjoyable as a crisp summer drink on its own or a perfect companion to light summer dishes and seafood.

St. Ludwin, Riesling ~ Germany
(Niersteiner Spiegelberg  Kabinett) Beautiful color to start off! This is FULL of super juicy pineapples, melon, and a hint of honey. Off-dry characteristics are balanced with some wonderful acidity, for a VERY well-balanced Riesling.
